My thermal gloves dont work anymore so I use Kevlar armoured Crosser gloves, they stop the cold getting in a treat.

Suppose your right Stig,even my younger Bro doesn't do winters anymore and he's 45 now.(strewth I'm getting old) .

Its a long time for them cams to be compressing in one spot,waiting for Summer?
