Just been and had a go (plus point having an attached heated garage and the wife is out with her mates)! looks a little better but won't know for sure until I go for a spin. The back of the front mudguard is still out and the wheel still has uneven gaps (this could be due to the spindle not being pe...

Bike ready for road but something bent?

Finished the budget cheap bike. New caliper seals, fork seals, new front tyre, all fluids etc. Serviced the Exup valve (but looked fine when I removed it). Engine runs very sweet. https://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/IdleSteve/P1150667.jpg However, something is not right with the front end, I th...

Are we talking about the same show?
This is at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, arranged by Carole Nash and MCN.
One hall full of new bike dealers, Triumph Honda Kawasaki etc, and the other hall full of Classic bikes. No one selling second hand bikes, just a few auto jumbles and tool stalls.

Err. No. It is a Honda, or part of one (CD200 Benley)?
Can't get the tune out of my head now! Do you really play that whilst riding down the road?

The other bikes are from my early years.
Cb250N on the left I think.
W reg one above the FZR looks like a Honda CD200 Benley.
And the one on the right a CB125T twin (good bike in the day).

Wiring to sort out next  https://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/IdleSteve/IMG-20190217-WA0003.jpeg A combination of hidden kill switch and switch that operates 2 flashing LED's front and back. I just hate blue connectors and Scotch locks https://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/IdleSteve/IMG-...

Yeh, it is plastic with a poor paint job. I have taken it off as it looks better without it.

Thanks for that. It has only done 53 miles since its last MOT which was done in June 2017. Looking at the MOT history it has only done 2000 miles since April 2006! The mileage on the clock is only 18,000 which I believe is genuine. Here is a couple of pictures after a quick buff up. https://i201.pho...

New member. Hi.

Hi everyone. Just bought a 1989 FZR1000 Exup project cheap. I am sure it is an American import having the 55mph highlighted on the speedo although nothing is mentioned on the Logbook. It has been stood outside for a couple of years but on first inspection looks OK. Not the original colour but I don'...
