If it meets the standards that is fine, I would buy it - only thing that might impact is if it is designed for cars - can mean clutch slip in bikes as the clutch is not separated like a car but for that price worth a punt

With respect to cooling I would recommend changing the fan switch for the honda civic one - gets fan coming on earlier plus use a thunderace thermostat switch, opens earlier so the bike doesnt have the coolant running so high - worked wonders on my R model

just put the mic on mine 50mm ed approx 30mm id as lot of flex in internal flap

seem to remember something about trx850 top yoke being straight swap on an R model and having holes already in for a bar conversion - but that was a thread on the other site which has since gone offline
