Another thing to consider - breath test kits are now a legal requirement on the Continent, as are bulb kits and warning triangles (not sure if the triangle applies to bikes though).

French petrol stations tend to be unmanned so make sure you have a credit or debit card that will work abroad (unmanned pumps don't accept cash). WTF!!!! New boots on clamps tight as allowed, carbs seated coreectly,no hairline cracks anywhere on carbs and suuroundings yet spray carb cleaner around them and bam revs increase (note: the revs died in my op coz the mixtures screws where 4+turns out to compensate)....... does not compute!!!! I've fitted an R1 5VY shock to a 94 EXUP. Takes a bit of doing and you'll need to custom make a lower mount and fit different bones to suit your ride height. Massive improvement though and definitely worth it.

IIRC, the actual servo itself is the same as the 'Cat and 'Ace all years, and R1 and R6 pre 2003 carbed models. HTH :)
