Ok
I bought a set of 1989 exup 1000 forks to stick on my bike while I have mine re chromed , the adjusters are different as mine is a 1991 last of the rwu forks. My question is are the stanchions the same in which case I can send off the earlier ones and rebuild with the later internals.

Hi All I'm using my 1000 R as daily transport and my rear shock has lost all damping, I'm after a replacement but funds are low. I have heard about using R6 or ZX12 shocks but can't find any info.
