Rode down to the superbike racing last weekend and team Yamaha changed it's colours overnight. Hey, the bolts are stainless, bought them from the Uk ebay.

Not been to any big bike meetings yet, hoping to but the riding position on the FZ does my neck in after a while, not the bikes fault, I'm just f***ing old and worn out.

It's painted. They strip the old coating, walnut or pellet blast it, fill any nicks, and straighten any bent rim, clear prime and paint. I had the rear done a year ago and it still looks new.

Just got my front wheel back from refinishing. From ugly hand painted to this.


FZR front

Yep, a woman, I was passing through on the way to Oz.

Love that model, and that color. Good find. I found mine was dropping revs as well after she sat for awhile, so I also ran seafoam in the fuel for a bit and bought a new fuel filter. Seemed to slowly clean up the issue and she's running great now.
