Empty fuel tank, it's so strange because the bike was still running so probably they were the latest fuel smokes...

Noisy fuel pump
Hi guys, 1990 exup here.
Used seldom once a month during last three years, I used it just one week ago and everything was fine. Yesterday a man came to see the bike (it's for sale, I've almost finish my other 1989 one) and that happened:
normal behaviour, I turn the key, hear the fuel pump rattling ...

Sorry guys my fault. the first 2 pictures are the ecus installed in my bikes (1989 and 1990). The latter is a pic taken over the internet to show what I am talking about.

If the wiring is OK, you could then check inside the servo to see if the teeth have been stripped due to the valve being seized at some point in the past
I have checked mine (the original one - supposed to be broken), and it was a pain in the ss to just open it without loosing all the tiny stuff ...
