main air jets are not removeable if you spray carb cleaner down it it should come out of 2 places 1st is the carb venturi, it should come out past the needle 2nd place is inside the float bowl, it should come out of the main jet the flow should be very strong, if its a weak stream, or it fails to co...

im going to try one on my zxr400 when it all gets put back together, you need the heatsink + fan ones, about 3000 or so lumens will do it, the only issues ive seen are reg/rec issues due to the decreased load your reg/rec needs to dump more excess power as heat and that can cause issues. the reviews...

easiest way to do the cam timing is to use a bit of marker pen/nail polish and put a tiny mark on your chain and on your cams, as long as you dont then rotate your crank (which you should be able to do) you just re-align your marks and your good to go...

i would keep the pump, its a big bike and it drinks a fair bit of juice, you dont necessarily have to run the relay if you want, you can just have it wired in to a switched live feed. as for your starter, your starter spins and engages a series of gears that culminate in your starter sprag clutch, t...

you are on the limit for the intakes and just over the limit on some of the exhaust valves. as you already have access to the top of the engine i would go one size down on all your exhausts to bring them into spec, so if you find a 1.80mm shim, you go down to a 1.75mm and that will increase your gap...

when you bridge the starter contacts (say with an insulated spanner in your hand) you are sending power directly to the starter motor from the battery. as your motor doesnt turn when you do this you either have a break down one of the battery wires (so battery to starter soenoid, solenoid to starter...

there are always pockets of air in the cooling system that require a bit of a blast to remove them. before you go down HG route i would refil your coolant, refil your expansion bottle and go for another 30min-1hr spirited ride, leave it to cool for several hours and when its fully cool go back and r...
