Exup 1000

Been playing with the 1987 FZ600. Realised that with the lights on, the charging system is struggling to keep up with battery drain. I have fitted 60 watt bulbs in place of the 35 watt units, but would the 50 watt extra demand be too much for the genny? Lights off, its all fine, with a battery volta...

As title, looking for an exhaust for our 1986 FZ600.

Believe the system is the same as a FZ400 and also early (non slanty) FZR600.

Yes heard of those kits, but they have to be 'approved' along with a dyno sheet.

That's plan B, FZ600 is plan A, that way she can do direct access on a 'big' bike.

Already thought of that.

Problem with 400's is that they produce too much power for the 'medium bike' bike test (max 49hp) but are too small for the 'big' bike test (min 596cc).

The gf is short (5'1"), so Im thinking the FZ should be suitably dinky, being a FZ400 with a XJ600 engine.

Looking for an old FZ600 for the girlfriend.

In Yorkshire, but don't mind travelling for a decent working example.
