I did it this way. I was doing a lot of work on the bike at the time and as you can see I had a lot of the bits off the bike. If I remember correctly I also found those O rings too big and just refitted the old ones. I seem to remember that they fit against a sort of brass? dished washer. Anyway I never had any issues after refitting them.
