Is this a 7 or 9 plate clutch?

Looking for a complete clutch for a Thunderace. It's to go into my '91 Exup RU.

I've heard that the Thunderace clutch fits the 1000 Exup. As the Exup clutch basket is a bit flakey, i'm thinking of putting one in as my clutch makes a rattle as you let the lever out. Will the Exup plates etc fit the Thunderace basket or will I need the whole thing? With regards to putting new clu...

If not and i have to buy the inner and outer basket, apart from the clutch plates themselves, is there anything else i need to get to fit it?

Having trouble setting the float height on my carbs. I've bought 4 x carb repair kits and I've practised on the spare set of carbs but I'm having trouble knowing when the float is in the correct position. What bearings will I need to replace?

Thinking about fitting a new clutch to the RU. When releasing the clutch I can hear a slight rattle as if the release bearing in the clutch needs replacing. Dont think the bike will make it tbh.

Still need a set of carbs although she is up for sale. If I can get a set of carbs before she sells and I sort the problem out once and for all then I'll keep her.

Either way, it's needs to be sorted cos it's doing my nut in !!
