This is Staithes revisited.
A few rides back. I set off for Staithes, but I must have missed the massive brick sign saying STAITHES at the roadside. laugh laugh

Well yesterday I set off to find it again, but I went a different route this time and found it with no bother.
Thereís some photos for you and the one with name DOG LOUP on the side of the house. The gap between the two houses is claimed to be the narrowest street in the UK. I had a bit of trouble finding the gap in the house until I asked a local woman where it was. She told me when she was very young, she was really scared of going through it at night, because it was very spooky. In the winter months when everybody had their coal fires lit. The children who were out playing used to stand in the gap and put their hands on the house walls because they were warm. nod

Staithes is a quaint little place. Itís just a pity the tide was out because it wouldíve looked lovelier with the tide in. The hill coming back up from the shoreline wasnít as steep as Robin Hoods Bay thank heavens. I wasnít wheezing and coughing half as much. laugh laugh

It was one of those day's again where you could've stayed out riding forever. I actually sent my missus a selfie of me just so she wouldn't be alarmed thinking it was a stranger walking in the house when I got back. LOL

One of your better travelogues John. You'll be on 't Telly soon.

Great afternoon in Derbyshire today but no time for pix. 4 hours detailing the Benz this weekend and it's going fast as........

3 coats of sealants and wax leave a super smooth finish on the paintwork. No drag.

Here are a couple of handy apps for your smartphone.
Both on Google Play:
Radarbot speed camera warnings.
Ulysse GPS speedo, datalogger, timers. This is the Bullshit Buster.

Iíve loaded the radar app after the last love letter arrived in the post stating they wanted to see me. Canít say the feeling was mutual and I wanted to see them. laugh
Would have preferred an introduction first. Would have been much cheaper laugh laugh
