Thanks Creedexup, it's about a year since I bought it from ebay (I think) so doubt I'd get much recourse there.
Reckon you're right though so will just get on and order another LOL Thanks mate.

Received, fitted and job's a good 'un!
Nuggitt, you are a star, so many thanks.
As soon as the new one arrives some time in August, I'll get it straight out to you.
And if you're ever over the West coast near Southport, you know where to come for a cuppa....and yes, I drink Yorkshire tea smile nod

Im pleased it turned up safe and sound. Im glad the one I sent wasnt faulty or it would have been a bit embarrassing. Keep drinking that Yorkshire Tea lad, and as Sean Bean shouts, do it for Yorkshire. ☕️🫖 👍

Just thinking Bonly

While youre at it why not fit a separate toggle switch?

Get a 10amp toggle switch and two piggyback spade connectors. Then whenever youre in heavy traffic you can turn the fan on and off when you like. I fitted my switch because when Im going along the seafront at Scarborough the traffic is so slow moving.

It's a good shout and I did think about copying that idea when the sensor was permanently 'on'.... the switch would turn it off smile....but no, you saved the day with your help Nuggitt and besides, I love Scarborough, went with the grandkids in the caravan only a few weeks ago, jeez it was busy!
But you'd never get me cruising Scarborough front on the Exup, I'd never get that far on it these days 'specially since I got me one of these.....

Been riding Goldwings since 2000 when I was just into my forties, first the 1500, then a 2007 1800, now this.
Old man's bike? laugh
It started with wanting to enjoy runs with the kids, kept them safe and the missus was always happy on a bike, so she loved the 1500 and the 1800 too. Been all over the place with them and for two up touring you cannot beat a 'wing. Better bikes for solo riding aye, but for two up, nothing beats it.
Get out there and test one, she'll love ya for it!
Go on, go on, go on...GO ON! big grin
