what would you sell it for ?

800 spent on engine rebuild


1000 on paint job

500 on powder coating

700 on exhaust system

200 on tank lining and carb cleaning

your thoughts appreciated?

Problem with projects is that you very rarely get back what's gone into them

Ultimately it's only worth what someone's willing to pay but due to it being tailored to your desires you'll need someone after something similar to be in the market at the right time AND have the spare cash available. All that limits the amount of available buyers

As Stig has said you very rarely get back what you have put in.
The going rate for an extremely good one will probably top out at 2000.
If you were getting the biketo tip top condition just to sell, you have been wasting your money.

Here's a prime example. I thought it was mint but it has a few chips on the tank edging and the right hand mirror is scratched. Does look rather well though. I can't believe its had 11 owners.
