Hi
I am restoring a barn find exup 91/92 model and it has had its frame polished, not completely. I can see the frame and swing arm look to have a factory silver (grey) spray on it.
It seems early exup's where just brushed alumiminum finish its certainly not that.
Also when I compare the front sprocket cover silver to the untouched part of the frame the silver is quite different.
Does anyone have a original 91/92 and compare the engine silver to their frame. Seems also the top yoke is same silver as the engine.
So frame swinging arm dark silver
top yoke, fork lower stantions, engine lighter silver
SS:STAR SILVER:006M is this the silver they used on the frame?

The frame is painted a silver color that you'll have to match from a sample. Its definitely not bare metal. |
